Eventuri's intake system for the BMW X3 M40i has been developed to give the turbos a less restrictive flow path while maintaining low intake temperatures.

In the M40i, the proximity of the intake system to the exhaust system presents a challenge, as it quickly heats up the engine compartment. High temperatures affect engine performance, requiring a solution that ensures minimum intake temperatures (IAT). Eventuri's solution consists of a completely sealed intake system that is designed to counteract heat excess and prevent the turbos from drawing in hot air.

Each intake system consists of:

- Carbon fiber air filter box
- Customized high flow dry cone filter
- Carbon fiber inlet pipe
- CNC machined temperature sensor assembly
- CNC machined ventilation adapter
- CNC machined turbo flange
- Heat protection with gold reflective back
- Laser machined stainless steel brackets
- Silicone coupling with OEM specification clamps
