The Eventuri intake system for the Mercedes A35 AMG has been developed to give the turbo a less restricted flow path while maintaining low inlet temperatures. Reducing heat absorption and increasing internal volume are the main considerations when designing an intake for turbo engines. In the A35, the intake system is located close to the exhaust pipe, which quickly heats up the engine compartment. High temperatures are detrimental to engine performance, as the turbo must build boost with warm, less dense air. The only solution to keep the intake air temperatures (IAT) at a minimum level is to have a completely tight intake. To reduce the restriction from a tight intake, we have increased the volume of the airbox by moving the ECU and providing an opening in the airbox on the cold side, away from direct heat from the manifold.

Each intake system consists of:

- Carbon fiber air box
- Customized high flow dry cone filter
- Inlet pipe in carbon fiber
- CNC machined inlet flange
- Laser cut stainless steel brackets and ECU cover
- Silicone coupling with OEM specifications and clamps
