The MK5 Supra Eventuri intake system has been developed to give the turbo a less restrictive flow path while maintaining low inlet temperatures. Heat and volume are the most important factors in the design of intake systems for turbocharged engines. In the Supra, the intake system is located close to the exhaust manifold, which quickly leads to heat transfer in the engine compartment. High temperatures are detrimental to engine performance, as the turbo must build up boost with heated, less dense air. The only way to keep intake temperatures (IAT) as low as possible is to ensure a completely tight intake system. However, this results in a limitation as there is only one original air channel to draw air from. During development, Eventuri noticed an additional opening into the wheelhouse area and took advantage of this by adding a secondary air intake to the airbox. In addition, the Eventuri's sealed air box also has a heat shield with gold reflection to minimize the radiative heat transfer from the exhaust smoke.

Each intake system consists of:

- Airbox in carbon fiber with double air intakes

- Custom high flow dry cone filter

- Inlet pipe in carbon fiber with 111 mm opening (inner diameter)

- CNC machined mounting bracket for temperature sensor

- CNC machined breathing adapter

- Heat protection with gold reflective back

- Laser-cut brackets in stainless steel

- Silicone coupling with OEM specifications and clamps
